The Optimized Process That Saves You the Most Time

In this episode, I’d like to tell you about a process that’s particularly important in your business, and the most crucial one that you can implement to save you time.

24 – When it comes to creating efficiencies in a firm, most owners completely ignore the most important process: the strategic planning process.

36 – Being clear about what you should and shouldn’t be working on is the #1 way to guard your time.

01 – I call my strategic plan a Roadmap. A Roadmap lays out what needs to be done to get where you want to go.

58 – I discussed the importance of personal goals in episode 27 of this podcast, in which I explained how your business will serve you personally, not the other way around. To accomplish this, we will create a pathway for your business to help you achieve your ideal life.

55 – To accomplish this, we zoom out completely to where we want to end up and create 90-day goals which become our sole focus. With your Roadmap, you will be able to say no and save tons of time.

43 Implementation of the plan is just part of the process. Having implemented your plan, all you need to do is update it regularly to reflect where you are at the moment.

15 – By having this in place, you’ll save a ton of time as a team on things that aren’t really mission-critical and you’ll help your team stay aligned and on the same page as well.

40 – I have borrowed a few ideas from a few books that I do like. First is Gino Wickman’s Traction and the other is Verne Harnish’s Mastering the Rockefeller Habits. They are both quite good.
